Conference Call Yields Insightful Questions
By: George Cappony, National 5 Day Consultant
Yesterday was the day of my latest 5 Day in America Conference Call. I was extremely pleased and surprised to find myself facing, not only a larger audience than I am used to, but especially one with specific questions that, because of their nature involving current issues in the real estate market, were extremely beneficial for multiple callers on the line. The call proved to be one of the more successful that we have had in recent months.
One question that came up involved conducting the sale in what we call a 'buyers' market.' This is the turn the real estate industry has been in for quite some time now, where we are seeing more homes for sale than there are buyers. It is a valid concern for homeowners, and is a situation a 5 Day Sale can be successful in.
I spoke with Gerri Detweiler on EveryDayWealth Radio last week about the buyers' market challenge when conducting a 5 Day Sale, as well as yesterday on the conference call. I explained in both instances how a 5 Day sale works in your favor during a buyers' market, because instead of beginning the price artificially high, as a real estate agent does in a traditional sale, you are drawing the buyers to your home with an artificially low price. Where the price ends up is determined by the buyers themselves during the bidding process, as they fight to find the market value that your home will sell for through this method.
It was a great question to have yesterday, especially during a call with such a large audience.
If you happened to miss the conference call yesterday, I will be conducting another one in two weeks, on August 3rd, 2006. The time for this call will be 8:00 pm Eastern Time (7:00 pm Central; 5:00 pm Pacific), and you can sign up on my conference call sign-up page. As always, the call is free, and we'll be speaking with homeowners who have used this method in the past. We'll also finish up with a 30-minute question and answer session to answer any questions you might have about how to sell your home on your own fast.
I'll see you on the call!
